hungry... ghost

Vincent told me today about how he and MH went to the Petronas Art Gallery at KLCC, and was saying how one of the full wall paintings located in the corridor was... for some reason... so haunting. He started talking about Askandar Unglehrt's the burst of blood and crow in the corner and what a bad omen it was. Then when he started talking about the other painting... the one of a living room, with a sofa lined on the side, and a staircase coming up... how it drew Vince and MH closer and closer........

... and then Vince's stupid mobile rang suddenly and I screamed.

Bearing the fact that my parents told me to stay clean off the beach (and seawater) because it's the "7th month" (i.e. 'Hungry Ghost Festival') scared me even more, because I'm leaving for Terengganu this week. Then before Vincci left, I tried to scare him by telling him to avoid looking into the rear-view mirror or he might see 'Jodie' (long story, something like scawee girl from 'The Ring'). Then he said he kinda 'saw' already, when he was driving back with Jue. And she noticed it too.

Crap! I'm so damn scared now. I'm gonna sleep with the lights on. Maybe with the music blaring, and the television on. Or something.
